Residents can comment on the proposed update to the city's Park and Open Space plan during a Public Information meeting from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at the Oconomowoc Community Center.
The Park & Open Space Plan is used to guide the City in making decisions related to improvements at existing parks, new facilities, land acquisition, recreational trail extensions & improvements. On Jan. 20, City staff will be present to discuss updates and changes to the Plan which is being proposed to be included in the City’s 2050 Comprehensive Land Use Plan.Following the meeting they can also attend and comment at a Public Hearing Feb. 2 at City Hall.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear public comment on the application by Craig Hoeppner, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry for the City of Oconomowoc who is requesting to amend the City of Oconomowoc Comprehensive Land Use Plan 2050.
The Public Hearing will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2 in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 174 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc.
