The City of Oconomowoc Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy was created to give citizens a better understanding of police department functions, operations, and the goals of our police department. The academy is designed to build relationships with the public and bridge the gap between the police and those we serve in the community. Some aspects of the academy are going to be interactive and hands on, while others will be lecture based sessions. The academy is not designed as a component for those interested in pursuing a career in Law Enforcement; rather, it is to provide knowledge to better educate the public. Residency* does apply to those interested in attending the City of Oconomowoc Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy.
