[ARCHIVED] COLLINS PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION

unnamed

The City of Oconomowoc will be reconstructing the Collins Parking Lot from later September through mid-November of this year.  The parking lot will be closed for the project as there will be underground utility work and changes to the configuration of the lot.  We anticipate the project to take six weeks to complete.  We will be placing signs and providing information for alternate parking areas prior to the work.  Enclosed are pages from the plan set showing the layout and landscaping of the lot.

Along with the parking lot, it has been approved to remove and replace the asphalt on the private property that abuts the parking lot as part of the project.

We understand this is an impact to your normal daily activities.  To better handle discussion of the project and answer your questions, we have schedule a Public Information Meeting for Thursday, September 17, 2020.  This meeting will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 174 E Wisconsin Avenue.  A presentation of the project will start at 5:00 with questions/answers to follow.  If you are not able to attend reach out to us at 262.569.2189 to schedule a time when we can meet and discuss.

It will be a mess during the construction, but the end product will provide many years of useful life.  Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated.
