Non emergency calls are answered in the City of Oconomowoc Public Safety Building. All cellular 9-1-1 calls made in the city are answered by Waukesha County Communications (WCC).

Weather Sirens
A weather warning siren is located in the downtown shopping district at City Hall. The weather siren is used only for tornado warnings. If you hear the siren, take cover immediately as a tornado has been spotted moving towards the Oconomowoc area.Impound Vehicles & Animal Shelter
Vehicle or pet owners will need to complete some paperwork, including payment of any vehicle tow charges and daily impound or shelter fees, prior to release. Dogs and cats are held for seven days before taken to HAWS or advertised for adoption.Crime Stoppers of Waukesha County
Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards to those anonymous citizens who give information regarding a person or persons responsible for a given crime. These rewards range from $25 to $1000 after an arrest, depending on the severity and importance of the crime solved.Citizen Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting for city residents or for employment within the city limits of Oconomowoc can be obtained on Tuesdays from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm or on Wednesdays from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The current fee is $30 per print card. Fingerprints are scanned onto a computer-generated print card as we no longer provide inked prints.Preliminary Breath Testing (PBT)
For those participating in the Waukesha County ATC program and reside in the City of Oconomowoc your PBT can be administered at the Police Department on your appointed days from 5:45am to 6:15 am. There is a $50 annual fee for this service.Contact Us
