Help First Responders, Adopt a Hydrant

The City of Oconomowoc Fire Department and Water Utility are asking residents and community business’s to adopt their neighborhood fire hydrant. They can perform a valuable community service and increase their own safety by removing the accumulated snow around the hydrant near their home or business.

By taking a few minutes to clear your adopted hydrant, you’ll be assisting both departments, and “the house you save might be your own!”

Please consider helping a neighbor with a medical condition or who is elderly, by shoveling out a hydrant in front of their home. This act of kindness will benefit the entire neighborhood.

For more information, call the utility office at 262-569-2196.

Thank you for your assistance and continued support!
